I am thinking it is about time that I introduced myself as the new owner of Lend Me The Dress NZ, so hay! 

I'm Jaimee and I am a mum to two beautiful children who keep me on my toes 24/7 but I wouldn't have it any other way I could not picture my life without them and I absolutely adore them to bits. 

I was born and raised in Hamilton in the Waikato and then when it was time to set off to High School my whanau and I moved to Tauranga. I moved back to Hamilton around 9 years ago now and am now living in Ngaruawahia with my partner and children. We were so lucky to get into the buyers market before everything went up and things hit the fan so to speak so we are very grateful to be able to call our place 'HOME'

I am a qualified teacher and studied through the Waikato University and have been in the teaching field for about 6 years now, previous to this I was studying social services. I love teaching and that aspect of my life. However when I went on maternity leave with my second child I decided to pursue my passion with photography and fashion.

Therefore leading me to become the new owner of Lend Me The Dress. Being a mother myself I know that we usually don't have many photos with our little ones and are always buying things for others rather than ourselves.

I found that the market for women's outfits that make you feel a million bucks was lacking and that the fast fashion waste was extremely high, let alone the price of buying a dress that was incredible was always out of reach as well. I am so beyond privileged to be able to provide women with an outfit that makes them feel amazing and that also is sustainable for the environment too. 

I have so many ideas of how to expand LMTD and make it a one stop shop for all things that make women feel amazing and great while hopefully reducing our foot print and waste at the same time.
